Alicat Workboats Ltd. are East Anglias No.1 designers and builders of aluminium boats. The company has over 200 designs of vessels that include crew transfer (CTV), wind farm service (WFSV), survey, patrol, inshore fisheries, environmental, leisure, military, fishing, barges, and multi-cats. The range includes vessels constructed in aluminium, steel and GRP composite.

As well as new build vessels the company also offers a turnkey design, consultancy and project management service for the modification, refit and survey of existing vessels. Alicat Marine Design specialise in non-marine related projects too and have successfully completed projects including freight transportation, and oil and gas engineering..

From the company's Great Yarmouth base Alicat operates arguably the UK's No.1 repair facility dedicated to the service and repair of small craft up to 40m. With a 200 tonne boatlift (mobile marine vessel lift) the facility boats East Anglias largest hoist. The facility has all major services onsite and is designed to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.

THE SEVEN ACRE YARD has 184m of river frontage with direct access to the North Sea. It has two building berths and an enclosed dry dock with a total length of 35m, 9m width and a draft of up to 2m.
