Metal Repair/Rebuilding Compounds

We offer a number of solutions for the repair and rebuilding of metal surfaces and components, including:

• Belzona® 1111 (Super Metal) – a two-component repair and rebuilding compound based on a ceramic steel reinforced polymer system. Often used to repair leaking tanks, fractured and holed casings, scored hydraulic rams, fractured pipes, stripped threads, etc. 
• Belzona® 1131 (Bearing Metal) – a two-component repair and maintenance compound with self-lubricating properties and a unique micro-porous structure to trap and hold lubricating oil. Often used to protect shaft sleeves, bearings, bushing, guides, slideways, pipe supports, etc.
• Belzona® 1511 (Super HT-Metal) – a two-component paste grade system based on a silicon steel alloy blended with high molecular weight reactive polymers and oligomers. Fully machinable when cured.

High Temperature Coatings

Also available are a range of high temperature coatings suitable for use in all conditions. They include:

• Belzona® 1391 (Ceramic HT Metal) – a combination of inorganic erosion/corrosion resistant reinforcing agents and a new, densely cross-linked polymer. Provides outstanding protection against erosion and corrosion in high temperature environments.
• Belzona® 1391S – a two-component high temperature coating system designed to operate under continuous immersion at high operating temperatures. 
• Belzona® 1392 (Ceramic HT2) – a two-component high temperature coating system designed to resist water and pressurised steam up to 120°C. Offers excellent erosion and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Typically applied to evaporators, heat exchanger barrels, condensate extraction pumps and return tanks, scrubber units, distillation units, etc.

Casting and Injection Materials

We offer several high quality casting/injection materials, including:

• Belzona® 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal) – based on corrosion-resistant ceramic steel particles held in a chemically reacting liquid polymer. Provides exceptional protection against erosion and corrosion, and accepted worldwide by Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, British Coal, American Bureau of Shipping, York International, UK Water Research Council and others. 
• Belzona® 1311 (Ceramic R-Metal) – specifically designed for rebuilding erosion and corrosion damage. Proven to transform metal surfaces suffering from deterioration in performance and efficiency. 
• Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide) – comprises of an encapsulated blend of lubricating and abrasion resistant fillers which allow smooth passage of water in flow equipment, reducing power consumption, increasing efficiency, lowering maintenance costs and enhancing hydrodynamic performance. 

Corrosion Protection

Belzona offers a range of specialist materials designed to prevent erosion/corrosion. They include:

• Belzona® 1321 (Ceramic S-Metal) – made with corrosion-resistant ceramic steel particles which are held in a chemically reacting liquid polymer. Provides outstanding protection for metal surfaces subjected to erosion/corrosion. 
• Belzona® 1391 (Ceramic HT Metal) – combines a unique blend of inorganic erosion/corrosion resistant reinforcing agents with a new, densely cross-linked heat polymer. Offers a very high level of protection against erosion/corrosion in high temperature environments. 
• Belzona® 1591 (Ceramic XHT Metal) – originally designed for the offshore oil and gas production industry, where salt-water corrosion and chemical attack are intensified by high operating temperatures. Now used in petrochemical, power and metal processing industries. 

Abrasion Resistant Lining

Belzona offers several high performance solutions for surfaces subjected to impact, abrasion and wear. They include:

• Belzona® 1811 (Ceramic Carbide) – a highly specialised composite combining extremely hard, closely packed abrasion resistant materials in a polymeric binder. Used to repair, protect or modify equipment that is subjected to particulate abrasion and erosion.
• Belzona® 2111 (D&A Hi-Build Elastomer) – adheres to almost any surface and provides outstanding resistance to abrasion, wear and atmospheric degradation. Benefits from high elasticity, exceptional mechanical strength and phenomenal extensibility and tear resistance. 
• Belzona® 2141 (ACR-Fluid Elastomer) – an elastomeric system designed for coating applications subject to extremely high localised pressures created by cavitation and erosion.

Safety Grip Systems

For the creation of non-slip surfaces we offer the following specialist safety grip systems:

• Belzona® 1821 (Fluid Metal) – a two-component material based on silicon steel alloy blended with high molecular weight polymers and oligomers. Provides a durable non-slip surface with excellent adhesion, wear and chemical resistance. Typical applications include fire escapes, walkways, tank tops, vehicle step-ups, loading ramps, etc. 
• Belzona® 4411 (Granogrip) – a hardwearing, permanently bonded non-slip solution for use on a variety of surfaces, including steps, factory walkways, loading docks, metal decks, tank tops, tiled floors and wood decks. 

Concrete Protection

Belzona offers the following solutions for the protection of concrete surfaces:

• Belzona® 4311 (Magma CR1) – a high performance coating with excellent chemical resistance. Bonds permanently to almost any rigid surface, including concrete, metals, fibreglass, tiles, brick and glass. 
• Belzona® 4341 (Magma CR4) – provides unrivalled protection against inorganic acids at elevated temperatures.
• Belzona® 5111 (Ceramic Cladding) – designed specifically for long-term protection of surfaces against physical, chemical and bacterial attack. Can be applied to aluminium, brick, iron, steel, stonework and plaster. Very hard and durable, yet flexible and easy to clean.
• Belzona® 5122 (Clear Cladding Concentrate) – a specialist masonry treatment that forms an invisible micro-porous, water-repellent barrier when applied to a porous surface. Ideal for concrete, limestone, brick, asbestos cement and sandstone. 

Industrial Lubricants

Belesta friction-reducing lubricants are designed to protect industrial machinery and enhance process efficiency. They include:

• Belesta® CSL (Chain and Slideway Lubricant) – an ester-modified chain and slideway lubricant with outstanding creep and anti-fling properties. Features Belesta’s unique boundary ion technology for exceptional load carrying performance. 
• Belesta® LC (Lubricant Concentrate) – a friction-reducing lubricant designed to reduce vibration, noise, wear, temperature, operating costs and power consumption. Typical applications include gearboxes, extruders and blower fans. 
• Belesta® LC2 (Lubricant Concentrate) – a friction-reducing lubricant that is completely free of chlorine and other potentially damaging additives, making it safe for use with compressors, turbines and hydraulic systems.
